Growing up on the beautiful island of St. Croix, I remember how the sweet aromatic scent of baked goods often filled our home as my mother baked. The desire to keep with the legacy of baking for family get togethers, unearthed my passion and a love for baking. What was once just a hobby birthed an idea. The SugarMill was born! The name is influenced by sugar mills found in my hometown, a historical structure used in the 1800's to extract sugar, molasses and rum for export.
